Day 4, Mostar

Weather fresh and bright as we left the lovely Hotel Plaza in Omis. One lady commented that I was optimistic being dressed in shorts and vest when there wasn't a cloud to be seen!

A longish drive and crossing border into Bosnia Herzegovina to get to the war torn city of Mostar with the historical commentary from the guide along the way.

The walk to the bridge was like being in Turkey as all the shops sold Turkish souvenirs and the restaurants were too.

The bridge was impressive but very busy and very difficult to walk on so we rewarded ourselves with another ice cream, spot the theme yet? After our allotted 2 hours we were on the road again for more border crossings out, in and out of Bosnia to get on the road to Dubrovnik and another hotel for the rest of our stay. Nowhere near as good a hotel and so sprawling it feels like a mile walk to the room but we're promised more choice at dinner.
